Seas of Green

If you would look into my eyes
you would see jade
that reminds people
of the emerald seas
and who I used to be
before crashing into
society
and in
reality
my eyes are blue
but I have made them
green
for
pirate thoughts
and
a petty man
who
I keep crashing
crushing for
because life was once
worth living
in the seas of green
within brown eyes
